EBC Organic Streetbike Brake Pads Organic pads have attracted many enthusiasts because of the way they work. They are inherently "softer", easier on discs and have a brake "feel" preferred by many riders.
EBC Double-H Sintered Streetbike Brake Pads Within one year of their launch in 2004 Double-H became the standard by which all brake pads for streetbikes were judged because of their long lasting and powerful brake effect. Double-H pads claimed their name from the industry standard gauge for measuring friction levels on brake pads. They range from F, F, G through to H rating, each grade being a 20% step up in friction delivery. A pad only generating an E friction grade would be totally unsuitable for use on any motorcycle, most of which now use G or H graded brake pads. EBC Double-H claim the highest H title in two ways, hence the expression Double H as they are H rated cold and H rated when hot. This means no brake fade.
EBC X & XC Series Fully Floating Front Discs X and XC discs are the lightest discs you can buy. They will eliminate all your vibration problems and last longer than conventional discs using round button technology. Both designs further reduce weight by using only Six Drive Buttons. This further reduces the unit weight by up to 300 grams X Discs feature full circle, circular disc blades.
XC Discs feature a contoured lighter weight profile. Both discs feature mill hard stainless steel high friction disc blades for maximum brake effect and are direct size replacements for OEM discs. Both designs are also TRUE fully floating units, offering more inside to outside float tolerance than any other disc on the planet. EBC recommend using new brake pads when replacing discs. The use of old or worn pads can cause hot spots or glazing of the disc and will promote brake fade and loss of brake.
EBC Rear Solid Contour Design Discs With contoured profile to reduce weight, these rear brake discs are made in HPSR steel and zinc lated to avoid corrosion. The feature the new scraper slot system which has proved to be successful in preventing early life disc damage when bedding in new brakes. The scraper slots remove any loose particles/debris as the pads bed in during early life after fitment, and prevent disc scoring.
